So in the last few weeks/ months EVERYONE has been so hyped for IT the movie! Its even gone and became the highest EVER top grossing horror film!!! Like even my nan is talking about it and she barely knows how to turn the TV on :')
So what is the hype about? What is the film like? I have decided to go to the cinema the day after IT was released and express my opinion on the show here!
I would just like to state there will be film spoilers, so if you don't want spoilers yet please skip this blog post.
How does the film start?
1) Georgie's boat falls down the drain
This part of the film proper gave me mixed emotions, Georgies brother Bill didn't want to go and play with the boat he made Georgie in the rain so pretended he wasn't feeling well. This was probably the worst mistake hes ever made. When Georgie is out chasing his boat down the street in the flow of rain he doesn't take in his surroundings and walks into a builders road barrier and falls to the floor. Because of this his boat keeps going down the stream ahead of him so he gets up to chase it.
As you can see in the GIF above his boat then falls into the drain. This is when we first see the appearance of 'IT'
After IT tries to convince Georgie to come down with him in the circus which has 'blown away down the drain' he can tell that Georgie just wants his boat back, so IT tells Georgie to 'Take it'
When Georgie goes to take the boat of IT he then bites Georgies hand of and drags him down the drain into the sewers! Then the movie begins.
Main Actors In The Movie
1) The Losers Club
The main goal of these kids was to find Bill's brother Georgie, but as they get closer IT always gets involved in some sort of way! But can they come together and stop IT before its too late?
Over all I give this movie a 9/10, I thought the movie was absolutely brilliant! There wan't a moment i got bored and i didn't even want to get up to go to the toilet! The flow of the film was superb and the jumps were all at the right time. I cannot recommend this film enough!!
If i ever see a clown now after watching the film ill be like - :')
